Scientists “95% Certain” They Have (Very Small) Alien Life With DNA Intact

Alien life has been discovered and brought down to Earth, according to a team of British scientists. The extra terrestrial life forms are microscopic entities, captured by a balloon launched into the stratosphere during a meteor storm. Professor Milton Wainwright of the University of Sheffield led the experiment. His doubters argue that the organisms are from Earth, but Professor Wainwright counters that this is not possible:

“Most people will assume that these biological particles must have just drifted up to the stratosphere from Earth, but it is generally accepted that a particle of the size found cannot be lifted from Earth to heights of, for example, 27km. The only known exception is by a violent volcanic eruption, none of which occurred within three years of the sampling trip.”

Professor Wainwright believes that his organisms hitched a ride on an ice comet:

“The organisms are not usual. If they came from earth, we would expect to see stuff that we find on earth commonly, like pollen.”

While the findings make us wonder what alien beings could be out in space, Professor Wainwright argues that life on Earth also had an extra-terrestrial origin. His research is focused on proving that we are all aliens, or, at least our very ancient bacterial ancestors were.
Wainwright says that he is “95% convinced,” he has found alien life. That doesn’t mean he won’t put it to the test, however. The life forms captured by the balloon have DNA, and Professor Wainwright will use a machine to make measurements that will determine if the life forms are terrestrial or extra terrestrial. Regardless of the results of the alien test, Professor Wainwright’s description of it is one of the quotes of the year:

“The absolutely crucial experiment will come when we do what is called ‘isotope fractionation’. We will take some of the samples which we have isolated from the stratosphere and introduce them into a complex machine – a button will be pressed. If the ratio of certain isotopes gives one number then our organisms are from Earth, if it gives another, then they are from space. The tension will obviously be almost impossible to live with.”
