(Before It’s News)
By Susan Duclos
According to the CBS News report video clip below, security experts have determined that journalist Michael Hastings, who died earlier this year in a car crash, was the victim of foul play and that his car had been hacked, making his death a murder and not an accident. The riginal CBS report was from November 2, 2013, but today conspiracy sites such as reddit are highlighting the report.
The report states that it is not just conspiracy theorists that worry about the ability to hack into things like cars and kill people, but security experts too see the vulnerability.
Via Huffpo:

In the days before his death, Hastings was reportedly working on a story about a lawsuit filed by Jill Kelley, who was involved in the scandal that brought down Gen. David Petraeus, according to the LA Times. KTLA reported that Hastings told colleagues at the news site BuzzFeed that he feared the FBI was investigating him. On June 20, the FBI denied that any investigation was under way.
This made his death very suspicious.
