Hematite is the stone of the month…
My Guides lead me to the particular stone of Hematite for the month of August. It was fascinating to see how it truly supports the ungrounding effects we are all experiencing from the high solar flare activity. Coming from the Greek word “blood,” Hematite contains the bloody red mineral form of Iron Oxide. It is no surprise that this stone cools, restores, strengthens, and regulates our blood supply by stimulating iron absorption in the small intestine, supporting the kidneys, and forming red blood cells. Thankfully, conditions such as anemia, leg cramps, tissue regeneration, fractures, and spinal alignments can be facilitated.
Strengthening our connection with Mother Earth, Hematite is the perfect stone for us to carry for limited periods to aid in grounding and protection. In fact, it was typically worn in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries through the mourning process.
Hematite gives us a sense of safety and security. As we journey through this era of immense uncertainty, this stone endows us with the courage, strength, endurance, and vitality needed to process our “ascension overwhelm.” Its magnetic qualities cleanse the energy channels within the etheric body, thus balancing the meridians and opening up the chakras. Hematite provides equilibrium between the ethereal nervous system and the physical nervous system so that a balance of energy and emotions is attained between the body, mind, and spirit.
Since we are all shedding layers of density on a grand scale, Hematite is especially significant this month. It assists in the dissolution of negativity, especially the absorption of other’s. Hematite boosts self-esteem, will power, and confidence, thereby providing us with the tools necessary to survive such incessant change.
This “stone for the mind” stimulates concentration and focus, enhancing memory, intuition, and original thought. It also supports anxiety and insomnia by helping us overcome compulsions and addictions such as overeating, smoking and other forms of overindulgence.Chakras – Base Chakra Influenced Channels/Meridians – Heart, liver, and pericardium Zodiac – Aries, Aquarius
