Luxembourg PM to resign over secret service spy scandal

The European Union’s longest serving prime minister has announced he is to offer his resignation over a spy scandal.

Jean Claude Juncker, who has led the Luxembourg government since 1995, made the announcement after facing a parliamentary probe over his alleged failure to curb abuse of power by the secret service.
