Speaking on the House floor on September 13, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard accused the Trump administration of protecting al-Qaeda terrorists in Idlib. According to the congresswoman, this amounts to the betrayal of the American people and victims of al-Qaeda’s 9/11 attacks in the US.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) called out President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence for allegedly protecting al-Qaeda* in Idlib, Syria, while speaking in the House on September 13.
“Two days ago, President Trump and Vice President Pence delivered solemn speeches about the attacks on 9/11, talking about how much they care about the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on our country. But, they are now standing up to protect the 20,000 to 40,000 al-Qaeda and other jihadist forces in Syria, and threatening Russia, Syria, and Iran, with military force if they dare attack these terrorists,” the congresswoman stressed.
Two days ago, President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence delivered solemn speeches about the attacks on 9/11, honoring the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on our country. Yet, they’re protecting al-Qaeda and other jihadist forces in Syria, and threatening Russia, Syria, and Iran, with military force if they dare attack these terrorists. Complete betrayal….”
Gabbard qualified the Trump administration’s handling of the Idlib problem as nothing short of “betrayal of the American people” and most notably, “the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on 9/11 and their families.”
“For the president, who is commander in chief, to act as the protective big brother of al-Qaeda and other jihadists must be condemned by every member of Congress,” she emphasized.
While Damascus is preparing to launch an advance on Idlib, the last terrorist stronghold in Syria, which accommodates, according to some estimates, up to 70,000 jihadi militants, Washington continues to issue threats against Syrian government forces and their allies trying to pressure them into abandoning the operation.
In late August, National Security Adviser John Bolton expressed suspicions that the Assad government could resort to the use of chemical arms in Idlib and threatened Damascus with a “strong” response.
The Syrian government has repeatedly pointed to the fact that it destroyed its chemical weapon stockpiles as well as chemical weapon production facilities between September 2013 and August 2014 under the supervision of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which was verified by the OPCW in January 2016.
Commenting on the upcoming offensive on the terrorist-held province, President Trump tweeted on September 3 that “President Bashar al-Assad of Syria must not recklessly attack Idlib province.”
”The Russians and Iranians would be making a grave humanitarian mistake to take part in this potential human tragedy. Hundreds of thousands of people could be killed. Don’t let that happen!” he claimed.
On September 12, US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley groundlessly blamed Russian, Iran and Syria of what she called a plan to “use” chemical arms in Syria.
“What we told, you know, the Syrians, the Russians and the Iranians was, well, twice we have warned you not to use chemical weapons; twice you have used it, and twice President Trump has acted. Don’t test us again,” Haley said in an interview with Fox News, referring to chemical incidents in Khan Sheikhoun and Douma and subsequent missile strikes against Syrian government forces by the US and its allies.
However, no evidence has been presented so far to confirm the involvement of Damascus and its allies in the incidents so far. Likewise, there has been no proof presented backing the claim that the Syrian government is going use poisonous substances in the region.
In contrast, the Syrian Foreign Ministry and Russian Ministry of Defense are citing evidence of a potential terrorist-arranged chemical provocation being coordinated in Idlib province. It was reported that the White Helmets NGO had smuggled a large shipment of poisonous substances to Ahrar al-Sham warehouses in Idlib.
Meanwhile, Damascus is amassing forces to launch an attack against Idlib, which is home to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham*, an umbrella terrorist organization led by al-Nusra Front*, an al-Qaeda associated group in Syria.
For its part, Russia is holding talks on the situation in the region with Iran and Turkey as well as with other players within the framework of the UN Security Council and on the Geneva platform.
*Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Nusra Front (Jabhat Fatah al-Sham), al-Qaeda are terrorist groups, banned in Russia.
FOX News Actually Admits, US Planning to Bomb Syria to “Protect Al-Qaeda”
The deep state’s support for Al-Qaeda has become so glaring that even FOX News is reporting on it, asking why would we be helping the terrorist group.
Idlib, Syria — For those who have been paying attention, the United States military industrial complex has been ramping up conflict in Syria and another attack on the sovereign country is seemingly imminent. However, to those paying attention, these imminent attacks will only help one group — Al-Qaeda.
On Tuesday, Congress woman Tulsi Gabbard pointed out the glaring hypocrisy of the White House honoring those who were killed by Al-Qaeda during 9/11 while the US is simultaneously supporting Al-Qaeda in Idlib.
“While President Trump & VP Pence give 9/11 speeches about how much they care about the victims of al-Qaeda’s attack on our country, they are simultaneously acting as protectors of AQ in Syria/Idlib, threatening Russia and Syria that if they attack al-Qaeda, we will punish them,” Gabbard tweeted.
Showing that the push for truth knows no party, FOX News right wing pundit Tucker Carlson echoed those remarks this week when he asked why the US went from fighting Al-Qaeda to protecting them.
“More than 10,000 rebels in that province are believed to be aligned with Al-Qaeda. So that would mean that 17 years after 9/11, America could soon find itself bombing a country to protect Al-Qaeda sympathizers. Why would we do that?” Carlson asked.
Tucker Carlson: More than 10k rebels in that province are believed to be allied with Al-Qaeda. So that would mean that 17 years after 9/11, America could soon find itself bombing a country to protect Al-Qaeda sympathizers. Why would we do that? #Syria
A TFTP reported on Tuesday, the Russian military announced that it had intelligence that the Syrian government would be the target of said footage and claimed it would be released that day. Then, on Wednesday the Russian Reconciliation Center In Syria released a statement claiming that a number of Middle Eastern TV channels and a regional affiliate of a US broadcaster “have shot nine videos, in Jisr al-Shughur city in Idlib province, of a staged chemical attack” that will be blamed on the Syrian government.
“All the footage of the staged provocation in Jisr al-Shughur is to be delivered to the newsrooms of TV channels, which are to broadcast it after its publication on social media,” the statement claims.
All of the videos, according to the Russian government, show activists from the White Helmets group providing assistance to civilians “injured” in the non-existent attack.
As the state run media group RT reports, the Russian military details that on September 11, the White Helmets and terrorists from Tahrir al-Sham (commonly known as Al-Qaeda in Syria) held a meeting following the filming process, in which they selected two out of nine videos for future transfer to the United Nations and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The remaining videos are to be used for propaganda on social media networks due to the poor quality, the military claims.
It is important to point out the possibility that the Russians are making the videos themselves to be used to discredit the United States. However, it is also important to point out that the US has used a similar video as a justification for a strike already.
Now, the US is claiming they will strike before any attack, as a means of deterring Assad from launching more chemical weapons. The logic here is absolute insanity.
Why would Assad gas his own people knowing full well that the US would use this a pretext to invade his country and eventually kill him? The answer to that question, if we apply the law of Occam’s razor, is that he wouldn’t.
The more likely answer to the question of why the US is attacking Syria and protecting Al-Qaeda is that it furthers the neoconservative interests of the deep state.
To those paying attention over the years, the deep state’s desire to intervene in Iran and Syria, and subsequent support for this in the media should come as no surprise as it has been the plan since Bill Clinton was in office and was documented in the neoconservative PNAC report. This was even admitted by General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, that the U.S. planned on going to war with Syria and other countries, according to a 2001 memo from the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
“This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years,” Clark said. “Starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and finishing off with Iran.”
How convenient for the deep state that Assad is now giving them a reason to attack Syria.

But the Western fascists care nothing about a few million souls, suffering or sacrificed, here or there, as has been proven by their criminal actions time and again, and openly admitted by the likes of Madeline Albright and Zbignew Brizinsky. And although the DPR is my country, and these are my people, and if need be, I will die alongside them, if the Donbass Republics must be sacrificed to ensure the survival of the Russian Federation, we are ready to make that sacrifice, as our Grandparents did, by the millions, to preserve the Russian Federation, the Slavic People, our people, the best and only hope for the future of Humanity. If need be, we will, but you can bet we will die fighting, and we will take as many nazis as we can with us when we go. We ask only that the leaders and the people of the Russian Federation and the world, make sure our sacrifice is worth it. Hoka Hey.
