The White House has suspended publishing public summaries of President Trump’s phone calls with world leaders, according to a Tuesday CNN report.
It is unclear if the suspension is temporary or permanent, two sources with knowledge of the situation told CNN.
However, the suspension brings an end to what has become a common practice under both Republican and Democratic administrations.
The White House confirmed that in the last two weeks Trump has had at least two calls with world leaders, one with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and another with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. No readout has been published for either of these phone calls.
